This year’s event will be emceed by Donna Rossi, Emmy Award-winning reporter from KPHO CBS News 5. The theme for the Gala is “Laughter in the Desert” and will feature comedian Jay Penn, whose act centers around funny stories called from life with his wife and family. Following the award ceremony, get ready to dance the night away when popular local band, Chuck E. Baby takes the stage.

If you are interested in staying at the Sheraton Wild Horse Resort the night of the event, information is as follows:

GUESTROOM RESERVATION INFORMATION

Based on season and availability, special room rates are offered for your guests. The demand for guestrooms is at a premium throughout the year; therefore we strongly recommend that reservations for your special guests be made when your advance deposit is paid. Every effort is made to reserve up to ten (10) rooms at the special Catering Rate of $159.00. This rate will be closed our 7 days prior to your event. If you require more than ten (10) rooms, it is our recommendation that you do a separate room’s contract at the prevailing group rate.Please advise your guests to call (602) 225-0100, Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm in order to make their reservation. Please note that your guests must request the AHWATUKEE WOMEN IN BUSINESS rate along with the date(s) of the event.
